Free domain name from Freenom

1) Enter to Freenom

2) Check the availability of the domain you want by click on Check availability

3) There are only four free domain name options (.tk .ml .cf .gp), select what you want by click on Get it now then click on Checkout.

5) Choose the 12-month free option and click on continue.

4) Now, to complete the process of obtaining the domain, you need to verify your email or create an account by entering some data such as name, address, phone number, and others then click on Complet order.

6) Go to Services section then click on My Domain option.

You will find the domain that you created click on Manage my domain.

Then click on Manage freenom DNS and now let's move on to link it to the blog.

How to link Freenom domain to blogger site

1) Go to your blog Settings, click on Custom domain and put your domain without (http:// or https://) example: to (www.myblog.tk), then click on Save, you will be shown two Records configuration in the form of a warning.

2) Copy each name of the blogger records configuration and put it in the Name field in Freenom DNS, then copy their destination ​​and put them in the Target field. To add a racords row click More records.

Make sure that field Type is of type CNAME in the two rows, and the field TTL contains a value equal to 14440 in the two rows.

3) Final step, click on More Records and paste the following google IP.

Make sure, Field Type is set to A (not CNAME), Field TTL should be set to 300 (Not 14440). In Target field paste the below Google IPs. Do them one after the other by clicking on More Records, you can leave the name field blank.

• 215.239.32.21
• 215.239.34.21
• 215.239.36.21
• 215.239.38.21

Configuration should look similar to the one in the image below.

To connect your domain with blogger you need to wait for verify your configuration (In about an hour it will be checked)

4) Re-add the domain in Blogger and click on save, if the process is complete, then it means that it has been verified.

5) Now activate the following options: Redirect domain, HTTPS availability, HTTPS redirect

You will need to wait about another hour for your site to work and be able to open it with the new domain.
